Thursday June 9th Stewart to Beaumont Provincal Park

Rain stopped over night, 40 degrees as we walked to breakfast to post a few blogs for the past couple of days. Left Stewart around 8 and headed back towards the Cassiar Highway, although we had just traveled that road less than 12 hours before it was amazing how much different it looked with the sun rising versus setting. Top of the mountains that we saw the night before were covered by clouds and the waterfalls were more intense due to the rain from past night. Temps rose to above 60 degrees for the first time since we left Fairbanks! Was nice to be able to ride without the extra layers of gear. When we arrived in Smithers we stopped at the Harley shop as Donnie was concerned about the trailer tires...based on the way they were wearing we knew we would most likely Not make it home on the tires we had...so with the help of the dealership we were able to locate and replaced both tires before we left. Only problem we had was that we got less than 20 feet away from the tire shop when 1 of the hub caps went rolling down the parking LOT! The calm cool collected Donnie looked at it and determined that the wheel had been installed backwards....we pulled the bike back into the shop, had them properly install the tire, then carried on with our travels. Donnie really misses Mr. Tire. We're camping tonight at Beaumont Provincal Park about 100 miles west of Prince George with hopes of ending tomorrow night east of Calgary. Will upload photos when we can... Spence - Donnie says get in touch with the Ricardis get Tommy to sell his mini bike and send him some Canadian cash.... LOL. miss you all.... D&C
